The Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into three components, intentionally designed to complement one another — nurturing creativity, artisanal craft, entrepreneurial training, and personal growth.

Component 1

The Crafts

Each student selects a craft based on personal preference and aptitude, determined during the Student Assessment Days.

Crafts Offered in 2026

Textiles

Weaving and spinning, fabric painting, screen/block printing

Furniture-Making

Joinery, rattan weaving, upholstery, restoration, repair and finishing

Needlework CMT

Cut, make and trim, embroidery and sewing

Ironwork

Welding, framework, boiler making, gates, furniture and smaller items

Personal Development Programme

The Personal Development Programme has been part of the vision from the outset. The goal is for students to develop a strong sense of self-worth and understand that the greatest value in community comes through meaningful contribution.

Our duty of care encompasses the full protection and wellbeing of every student - a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. This includes transport reimbursement, health provisions, and holiday support.
